Promoting international cooperation: Quang Ninh University of Industry visits and works with Liaoning Technical University - China
On November 2, the QUI delegation visited and surveyed the training facilities of LNTU in Phu Tan city, Liaoning, China, visited Hai Chau Mining Park, a typical model of combining training, preserving mining technical heritage and developing industrial tourism. The visit to the park, the Mining Museum, the workshops and laboratories helped the delegation better understand the strengths of training and scientific research of LNTU in the fields of mining engineering, energy and automation.
At the official working session on November 3, held at Phu Tan Campus, welcoming and working with the QUI delegation, representatives of LNTU University included Prof. Ma Tu Tuyen - Principal, Prof. Ngu Phu Phat - Vice Principal, Mr. Ton Vi - Director of the Center for International Cooperation and Exchange, Mr. To Quoc - Deputy Director of the Center for International Cooperation and Exchange, Ms. Ly Boi Boi - Deputy Director of the Center for International Cooperation and Exchange. The two sides have implemented a memorandum of understanding on strategic cooperation, opening a new phase in the relationship between the two schools. The main cooperation contents include: Annual student exchange program in key fields such as IT, Electromechanics, Mining Engineering, Automation...; Developing 2+2 and 3+1 joint training programs; Organizing online courses on AI, energy, electric vehicle technology; Regular exchange of lecturers and experts; Organizing international scientific conferences; Organizing the "Summer Experience" program at QUI for Chinese students
Speaking at the signing ceremony, the Presidents of the two schools affirmed their determination to upgrade the cooperation to a long-term strategic level. The working trip not only marked over 20 years of effective cooperation between QUI and LNU (2002–2025), but also opened a new chapter towards high-quality international training cooperation, technology transfer and deep integration. The warm welcome from LTU, along with the in-depth and practical discussions, demonstrated the solid friendship and strategic partnership between the two schools.
